Audio Detail - Malvern

Finally the first "DHT" 101D all valve phono stage is installed..With its twin valve regulated supplies and whisper quiet sonics, the customer is thrilled!

Over the Christmas break, I decided to make a high end Phonostage prototype..I had 2 scrap chassis from an Australian company..
So the end result is, a twin valve regulated HT PSU, running a dual mono Phonostage, The output tube is 101D or PX4, fed by 6J5GT and input is parallel 6N2P-EV triodes.. All with 2 stage passive RIAA correction... It is a quiet and beautiful prototype! It will end up in my product portfolio, to match the Audio Detail 101D Pre amp

Just finished another NV-06MM(all nuvistor) Phono stage.. And doing some testing/listening.. Also a change of TT, the brilliant Planalogue has now gone to a new owner after 3 years, and while my new TT is on its way..What could I do but get out my venerable 40 years old Technics SL1500 MKII..A quick oil of the bearing and a check of capacitors etc. & all is good to go! I bought it in 1984 2nd hand! Now fitted with Audio Technica VMS540..Astonishingly good, silent bearing with no play or rumble..Perfect....

At last I have managed to complete the latest set of Audio Detail GM70 Mono blocks! With matching 101D pre amp..

Well by popular demand, I have been asked for a "GM70" version of my monoblocks(a Soviet DHT power triode)
After some head scratching and work, I have to say they are working and sounding stunning.. Different sound from 211, but both are great!
