This weekend we successfully held our grade testing in London and Manchester, and it was a fantastic event showcasing the hard work, commitment, and spirit of our students.

A huge thank you to Sensei Steve for making the grading possible, and thank you to Sensei Krishan for travelling down from London to support the testing. We are also very grateful to all the coaches and the admin team for their time, organisation, and support throughout the weekend. A special thank you as well to all the parents for their continued encouragement and support behind the scenes.

We would like to congratulate the 6 students who achieved their Black Belt (Shodan) and the 27 students who graded for Provisional Black Belt (Shodan Ho)β€”an outstanding achievement and a reflection of your dedication and perseverance.

For anyone who was unable to grade this time, there will be another opportunity at the next grading, so keep training hard and stay focused.

*Celebrating 21 Years Today!*

Today, *26th November 2025*, marks *21 years* since we first opened our dojo doors here in the UK β€” in *Manchester and London*.

As we celebrate this milestone together, we honour every step, every challenge, and every moment that has shaped our journey. Through your dedication, discipline, and unity, we have grown into the strong martial arts family we are today β€” and each of you has played an essential role in that legacy.

To mark this special occasion, we are proud to announce our transition to our new name: *KARATE ALLIANCE UK (KAUK).* This identity reflects who we are today and the communities we serve across the UK. KAUK represents our unity, our continued growth, and our commitment to bringing people together through martial arts.

Our new badge symbolises the harmony of two essential elements:
*Blue*, representing flow, and *red*, representing power.
Together, they embody controlled strength and the balance of opposing forces β€” principles that sit at the heart of our training. When combined, these elements create unity, precision, and effectiveness.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our friends, students, parents, and instructors for your ongoing support and commitment. To celebrate this milestone, we will also be releasing a range of *Karate Alliance UK hoodies, t-shirts, and jumpers* in honour of our 21st anniversary.

Karate Alliance UK β€” Stronger Together.

Kind regards,
*Management Committee*
