done 4:19 ✅

Arguably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
Doing it off 3 weeks notice and being sick all week didn’t help.

An absolute slog but just happy I got through it and another side quest completed onto the next 😆

Appreciate all the support as always especially from the best 💙 .louise1 Jake Jamieson

30km ticked off. Side quest continues.

3 weeks prep for a full marathon 🤣

Last 7km were rough, cramps in both hamstrings and the right quad. Was literally running like I’d sh*t myself. So fuelling definitely needs sorting.

Apart from that actually felt pretty good.

We go again!

Open done for another year.

Second ever Open:
UK 91st percentile (top 9%)
Worldwide 90th percentile (top 10%)
Europe 90th percentile

Last year I finished around the 73rd percentile, so the goal this time was simple just do better than last year.

Happy with the result.

Still plenty to work on, but good to know I’m getting slightly less average at this whole CrossFit thing 😆

A quarter of the year in and some solid progress across the board 🏆🎯

Sam — Double header. First Hyrox with minimal prep and handled it well, then followed it up with his first half marathon — sub 2 hours.

Cai — 8 weeks of working together, focusing on running-specific strength for the Liverpool Half. Finished it with a big PB.

Steph — Completed her first solo Hyrox abroad and smashed it. Half marathon next, and likely another Hyrox on the cards.

Cheryl — Took time off her half marathon from last year and continues to build for her marathon next month.

Not always sunshine and rainbows.

20km today and easily one of the toughest runs I’ve done.

Did the Open workout 26.1 on Friday and then repeated it yesterday. So this probably wasn’t my smartest decision going into the longest run of the block.

Quad DOMS were unreal. Nearly threw in the towel more times than I’d like to admit.

Not quick. Not smooth. Just about survived.

Big thanks to for getting me through it and putting up with the moaning and unscheduled stops, I know how annoying that must’ve been 🤣🤣

Let’s just hope 26.3 before the actual half isn’t a leggy one… otherwise I’m completely f…

We go again!

It’s not supposed to be easy.
You won’t feel 100% every day.
Progress won’t always be exciting or visible.

But that’s the point.
Results come from showing up when it’s hard, boring, or inconvenient not just when it feels good.

If you’re stuck, it’s probably not your plan.
It’s your habits, your effort, or your inconsistency.

One to Think About This Week 🤔

If you keep casting the same votes you’ve always cast, you’re going to get the same results you’ve always had.

This is a quote I have down in my notes after reading Atomic Habits (Highly recommend btw!)

Your results are a reflection of your habits, not your intentions.

And if your actions keep contradicting the person you say you want to become, nothing will change.

Ask yourself:
Would the person you’re trying to become be doing what you’re doing right now?

If the answer’s no, something needs to change.

You’re either casting votes for that identity… or against it.
