Why you’re not losing weight #1 🙅🏻♀️
⚠️ You’re eating back your calories burned ⚠️
👉🏼 If you use a calculator to work out how many cals you should be eating, the formula used to calculate this already takes your burned calories into account. It already knows you’ll be burning cals throughout the day, and has included this into your calorie goal. Therefore, if you eat your calorie burned on top of your calorie goal- you’ll actually be overeating and no longer in a deficit.
👉🏼Calories burned aren’t at all accurate. Although we can track them with smart watches etc, if you wear an Apple Watch on one arm and a Fitbit on the other they will both display a different number of calories burned. Smart watches are notorious for overestimating calories burned so if you use that number as you’re guide- you’ll most likely overeat and no longer be in a calorie deficit.
✅ Ignore your calories burned
✅ Stick to your initial calorie goal
