🇬🇭🇬🇭🇬🇭

We are proud to have facilitated and supported the smooth delivery of the inaugural diaspora talent identification programme organised by the Ghana Football Association in the United Kingdom.

The programme brought together over 40 players of Ghanaian descent, born in the UK and currently developing within Category One academies across the country.

These young talents, representing some of the highest-performing youth systems in English football, were assessed as part of a structured effort to identify future international players for Ghana. 🇬🇭🇬🇧

This mandate aligns fully with the vision and long-term objectives of our Club,.The initiative, delivered in collaboration with the Ghana High Commission[ Ghana High Commission United Kingdom ]and Prince Lamona Consult, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening talent pathways between Ghana and its global diaspora community.👋👋👋

We at Coachhene Sports Club are proud to have facilitated a Ghana Football Association talent identification initiative aimed at attracting young talents in the UK early enough into the national team pathway.

Being officially mandated to oversee this process in the UK is both exciting and aligned with what we stand for through our strong Ghanaian connection and commitment to youth development.

The session, organised alongside our partners the Ghana Football Association in collaboration with the Ghana High Commission United Kingdom , and Prince Lamona Consult, served as the opener for a talent identification programme for Ghanaian players, with Category One academies set to follow on Thursday.

Our Communications Director and BBC Sports Presenter, George Addo Jr , moderated the event.

Among the speakers were Ghana’s High Commissioner to the UK, Sabah Zita Benson, Michael Essien, GFA President Kurt Okraku, and the mother of Antoine Semenyo, Dela Dzebu.

The event was well attended, with over 200 people present for the session, reflecting the growing interest in Ghana’s efforts to identify and attract talented players at an early stage.

This is only the beginning, with more engagement sessions expected in the future as Ghana hopes to attract talented players much earlier into the national team setup.

Champions 🏆

Our U8 Eagles put in a splendid performance to win the end-of-season MYSL Cup.

The Eagles started and finished the final with the same dominance they have shown throughout the season.

A special win, a special trophy, and a fitting goodbye at the end of their time with the club, following many signings across the period.

Congratulations, boys — go on to greatness! 💙⚽

It was a tough weekend for our U7 Eagles, who narrowly lost to MSC in the Champions Cup Final at Carrington.

A closely contested final saw our Eagles battle brilliantly, with the game level at several stages, but unfortunately we lost out in the crucial moments.

It was a similar story for our U8 Stars, U10 Eagles, and U10 Stars, who also narrowly lost in their respective finals.

Despite the disappointment, we are incredibly proud of the effort, teamwork, and determination shown by all our players throughout the season.

We now look ahead with excitement and optimism for next season.

We are proud to announce that Taha from our U8 Eagles has signed for the prestigious Liverpool FC academy.

This is a truly special moment for everyone at the club. Taha joined us at the age of four and has steadily progressed through the years with dedication, hard work, and determination.

A key member of the team, Taha has always been willing to give his all. His discipline, attitude, and fighting spirit have stood out from a very young age, and we have no doubt that he will go on to achieve great things at Liverpool.

Stories like this are priceless, as they reaffirm our philosophy of nurturing children from an early age and helping prepare them for the future both on and off the pitch.

Congratulations, Taha — we are all incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing you reach the very top!
