You may have had an absolute stinker of a day, you may have to work overtime and don’t have any time to do what YOU want in the evening. You can’t take these things into the next day, don’t let things dwell and get on top of you. A new day is a time where you can try and be more positive about things and change your mindset. Pick yourself up and go again no matter what 🙌🏾

We all know by now that exercise is amazing for our mental wellbeing. It releases endorphins, boosts confidence, improves relationships and manages stress. It can be a way to let your anger out or is the dedicated ‘me’ time people don’t get in the rest of their lives. In many ways the gym is a form of therapy, make sure you use your time wisely and get to the gym.

1. Hang / Stick them up
Keeping your goals in plain sight helps you make smart choices when you are faced with tough decisions, like what to eat and whether or not to skip the gym. Write down your goals and use them to help guide your choices at the moment you need to make a decision.
2. Share them with others
A strong support system is important for reaching your fitness goals. Don’t keep your goals to yourself. Share them with those who you know will support you. These people can help cheer you on when you feel discouraged and join you in celebrating your successes.
3. Reward the small accomplishments as well as the big goal.
Don’t let small accomplishments go unnoticed. Give yourself rewards for each small step you conquer towards your goal. These rewards will act reminders that you are working towards something worthwhile and continuing to make progress.
