Sometimes our availability makes it possible to arrive the day before a hire starts and stay static on our mooring (bow to bow with the green boat here in the pic) this costs an extra £50 - please ask about this option if you are interested. Oh look there's Nina.

This is a clean, bright, spacious and cosy houseboat to rent from 2nd November 2015 to 14th March 2016. You will be based at the Bridgewater marina which is 9 miles from Manchester. The boat is usually used for narrowboat holiday hire but due to a canal closure we can offer static houseboat hire.
With a solid fuel stove and central heating the boat is lovely for a winter and early spring hideaway. If you have ever fancied living on a houseboat now could be the time to try it. You will be based at a well serviced marina.
This type of hire would be suitable for a professional such as a commuter to the BBC Salford, a freelancer, a writer, a painter, photographer or someone who enjoys nature, something out of the ordinary and someone who will be respectful and caring with our boat.
