Jay-Jay Okocha’s 2002/03 season at Bolton is difficult to measure cleanly.

The output was strong enough: 31 appearances, 7 goals and 3 assists. But the real value was in what he gave Bolton beyond the spreadsheet: control, unpredictability, personality and belief in a side fighting to stay up.

This is exactly where Peak Index gets interesting. Not every great season is built on huge goal numbers. Some are built on influence.

Peak Index Score: 86.4

Was Okocha’s Bolton peak underrated, overrated, or impossible to judge by numbers alone?

Was Marcus Rashford’s 2019/20 Premier League season better than people remember?

This was the campaign where his pace, threat and end product all came together.
17 league goals. 7 assists. Constant danger in transition.
Not quite all-time elite, but far better than many give it credit for.

Peak Index score: 86.4

The bigger question is this:
are people judging Rashford’s peak on the full picture, or letting later inconsistency rewrite how strong this season really was?
