I don’t believe health is found by fighting the body.
The deeper I’ve gone into my own health journey, the more trust I’ve developed in the body’s ability to communicate, adapt and heal.
Sometimes a symptom is part of the healing process. Sometimes it’s a warning sign. And sometimes it’s an invitation to look a little deeper.
That’s why, when I work with someone, we don’t just look at symptoms or reach straight for a herb. We explore the whole person, mind, body and spirit.
What we believe about our health matters more than we often realise. The stories we repeat, the way we interpret symptoms, and the relationship we have with our own body can all shape how we experience wellbeing - Mind
How we nourish ourselves, speak to ourselves, move, rest, breathe and interact with our environment matters. The body is constantly responding to the conditions we place it in - Body
Freedom. Expression. Pleasure. Creativity. Connection. Purpose. Time in nature. A relationship with something greater than ourselves. These things aren’t separate from health, and sometimes their absence can affect us just as deeply as the food we eat - Spirit
This is the nature of my work.
Herbal medicine is part of it, but the herbs are never the whole story. My role is to help you listen more closely, understand what your body may be asking for, and create the conditions in which healing can be supported.
Because I’m not interested in silencing the body.
I’m interested in understanding what it’s trying to say.
