The reason behind MG 🩷 As a parent/ coach. I have always encouraged my daughter (Esme) to follow her passions and pursue her dreams. One of her biggest loves has always been football. After starting Esme in football at a younger age I quickly realized that there were limited opportunities for girls in the area to participate which is why I decided to start Manchester Girls FC. Despite facing challenges along the way, seeing the smiles on the faces of the girls as they train and play together makes it all worth it. Witnessing Esme and her teammates flourish and form lifelong connections with each other has been incredibly rewarding. Through Manchester girls FC, I hope to inspire and empower young girls to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and be their best self on and off the pitch. The club is not just about football; it’s about community, friendship, and empowerment. I am so proud of what we have accomplished so far, and I am excited to see what the future holds. With dedication and a shared passion for football, I am confident that we can continue to make a positive impact and create a lasting legacy for girls’ football in Manchester .🩷⚽️ Kristina x

We had a really competitive game today but honestly I’d take those games every week!

Shout out to Elsie who really put a shift in today, pass more and really thinking about her next move when she isn’t in a position to shoot! Also bagging 7 goals or something like that!!

Again all I could hear from wintons parents was “how good is your goalie, Isla really did make the score what it was today with some really fanastic saves !!

Great job girls. We go again next week! That’s the two hardest teams out the way so I’ve a good feeling we will bring it back next week 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I praised each girl individually today because honestly, every single one of them did absolutely fantastic !!

Great game for the Dynamite’s this morning it was a cold one but everyone of them gave 💯% great passing and defending again 👌 shout out to Ella who did a fantastic job as this week’s Captain 👏 also Pheopbe and Bella-Boo who won the P.P.O.T.M and coaches P.O.M trophy’s well deserved girls
