“I’M OK WHEN IT COMES TO MEALS, IT’S KNOWING WHAT TO SNACK ON..”

Let me begin this post by saying that this isn’t to disparage any foods. Ask the 3 people who signed up to my online coaching last week. In each consultation call, I told them that no food is ‘off-limits’. However, the above sentence/conversation is one I’ve had numerous times in my career as a Personal Trainer. It was even something I thought about alot myself when I used to work in an office and was surrounded my ‘temptation’ 🍩🍫 So, if you’re looking to keep calories under control for your personal goals, here are some of my ‘go-tos’ when trying to get ‘more bang for my buck’ i.e. a a two-finger Kit-Kat is 104 kcal (less than most items on these posts) but they are also extremely palatable and can ‘leave you wanting more’... which is hard. So trying to find snacks higher in protein & fibre (for satiety) is a tactic well worth considering. Even if this post helps just one person with some snacking ideas, I’m all in 🎲🎰

💊 LET’S TALK SUPPLEMENTS 💊

It can be easy to spend large amounts of money on various supplements. It’s either been recommended to you or based on ‘hear say’.

I’ve tried almost every supplement there is over the years (I saw myself as a human guinea pig) and I now only use 4 regularly- Whey Protein, Vitamin D, Fish Oil & Creatine.

I hope this post can act as a ‘troubleshooting guide’ and helps to clear up some of the common questions when it comes to the efficacy of certain supplements.

‘YOU DON’T HAVE TO COUNT CALORIES TO LOSE WEIGHT, BUT CALORIES ALWAYS COUNT’ 🧮

Let me start this post off by saying that there is no such thing as a “good” or “bad” food. However, there is such a thing as a good or bad diet. So, I thought I’d share some ‘Calorie Swap’ tips to help anyone that needs it. Even by implementing a few of these ideas you could ‘save’ yourself a lot of calories per week- which you can then use for some weekend indulgence🍸🍔🥤(without going over your weekly target & the notion that you’ve ruined all your hard work from the week).

Hope it helps 👊🏼
