North BMX Development Centre #23 🤩

We’re back with something a little different this month 👀 This Development Centre is paired with Manchester BMX’s Super Saturday (Club Race); making this a race preparation focused session 💪

We’ll be guiding riders through how to manage a race day; from practice; to handling nerves; to nutrition; bike set up; and race tactics 👊 Everything you need to feel confident; prepared; and ready to perform on the gate.

Riders will also have their own dedicated Development Centre gazebo; based with the coaches all day 🤝 creating a supportive race day learning environment 🔥

Your race entry is covered within the Development Centre; so there’s no need to register separately 🙌

Alongside this; we’re also running an S&C Workshop 🌟 Riders will be given a time slot; focusing on the fundamentals of strength and conditioning; with valuable tools for both riders and parents to take away.

These sessions will be led by North Region Lead Development Coach; Connor Hedges; supported by northern club coaches 👊

Weve been invited by the Midlands region to link up at the National Cycling Centre 💪 During this Development Centre we will continue to challenge riders technically and build on major race prep! Jumping being a key focus at this track 😜

20 Spaces for North Riders
20 Spaces for Midlands Riders

Crewe will host the cluster and next development centre the day after! We understand this may be difficult for some to attend both, but the opportunity of the indoor was too good to turn down!

If you are planning to attend both, cost will be subsidised for the Crewe session.

These sessions will be lead by West Midlands & North Region Lead Development Coaches, Martin Brown & Connor Hedges, and assisted by northern club coaches! 🤝

REMINDER: DEVELOPMENT CENTRE THIS WEEK 🤩

DEVELOPMENT CENTRE #21

The next stop is at 🔥 at this Development Centre we shall be conducting all RSR testing, this is a great opportunity for riders to collect the data they need before the RSR Deadline 👊

If you are to pass the criteria, your application will be back by the regions lead coach. 👊

On track, we shall be discussing race preparation and how to deal with various scenarios on race day. Alongside technical and tactical work also! 💥

Timings will be adjusted on the British Cycling Website shortly, due to club coaching also taking place 🙏
