A fantastic gift from Steve Watering to the Manchester branch of the Doshukan dojo. The signed bokken was a gift to Steve by Iwata sensei and it will now be part of the Manchester Doshukan kamiza.

A great day training with my teacher Steve Watering at the original Doshukan dojo. The Doshukan dojo name was originally given to Steve by his teacher Iwata Norikazu sensei (https://ejmas.com/tin/tinart_hellsten_1002.htm) many years ago. In koryu martial arts our history is the bridge that connects us to past teachers and the evolving philosophy of the school.
