📉 Marcus Rashford's hopes of joining Barcelona permanently from Manchester United this summer appear to have taken a huge hit, with the La Liga champions in agreement with Newcastle over an €80 million move for Anthony Gordon, according to David Ornstein this evening.
The move for Gordon - who scored three non-penalty Premier League goals this season - has raised a few eyebrows on social media, given the success of Rashford's loan spell at Barca and a reported £26 million buy option available until June 15 for the club 🤨

You are not coming anywhere, you will be in prison when we are going to win the Champions League next season!"

Marcus Rashford via Instagram:
“Special thanks to Unai, Hansi, Thomas, Aston Villa, Barcelona & England for believing in me when things got tough. ❤️”
Technically, he is still a United player, and the club still pays part of his wages, yet there is no mention of United here.
Unbelievable that some fans still want this player back at the club.

Sir Alex refused to go out the way Pep is.
He came back after the heartbreak & controversy of 2012, poached Robin van Persie from Arsenal to spearhead a title charge that was over in March when they were 15 points ahead.
If not for a farcical Nani red card vs Real Madrid in the Champions League that to this day makes zero sense, it could've been an even better final season.
That's how you go out. On top, undisputed. Not with a pathetic whimper out the back door before the final day, while wearing the worst hi-viz kits imaginable.
There are levels here. Good riddance, Pep.

Garnacho said Chelsea can beat Arsenal because Man Utd did it, but they lost.
He won the FA Cup with United playing against City in the final, but lost the FA Cup yesterday playing with Chelsea against the same Man City.
All I'm saying is that, I'm VERY HAPPY he's experiencing this pain after biting the finger that fed him.
I'm sure he has now finally learnt his lessons that it's always good to appreciate what you have, but unfortunately for him, Strasbourg could be his next destination this summer. 😂😂
