October 1st marks the start of our ‘Stop domestic & family Violence’ Awareness month This month gives students an opportunity to support this vital charity that provides help for families involved in incredibly difficult situations. You can support the cause by purchasing a Purple Belt (online) and wearing it to class. With all profits going to Refuge.

🥋 GKR NORTHERN TOURNAMENT – TIMETABLE 🥋

The timetable is now available for our GKR Northern Tournament this Saturday in Bradford! 🏆

⏰ IMPORTANT – ARRIVAL TIMES

It is not compulsory for competitors to arrive for the opening bow-in if their event is scheduled for later in the day. You are more than welcome to arrive closer to your own event time, provided you are at the venue at least ONE HOUR before your event is due to begin.

That said, if you can join us from the start, we’d love to have you there! The opening bow-in is a great opportunity to be part of the tournament atmosphere from the very beginning, support your fellow GKR students and watch some of our senior grades competing in the opening events of the day. 🥋👏

Please remember that the timetable is subject to change on the day, so arriving at least an hour before your scheduled event is essential. Events may begin earlier than advertised if the tournament is running ahead of schedule.

🚗 CAR PARKING

Parking at the venue is limited and the venue will still be in use by other patrons throughout the day.

To help reduce pressure on the car park and ensure we are being considerate to everyone using the venue, please car share wherever possible.

🥋 Please double-check your event times before Saturday and allow plenty of time to arrive, park and get yourself ready.

If you have any questions regarding the timetable, please contact Sensei James at:

📧 [email protected]

We can’t wait to see everyone in Bradford on Saturday!
