A reminder that our self defence seminar is taking place tomorrow in Crumpsall. Open to all our students and their families, come down to learn some vital life skills and support our partner charity Refuge 💜

💜🥋SELF DEFENCE SEMINAR IN SUPPORT OF REFUGE 🥋💜

GKR Karate UK will be running special seminars in May to support REFUGE - a charity who supports and help survivors of domestic and family abuse!

GKR Regions 2 & 3 will be holding a seminar in Crumpsall on Saturday the 31st of May.

This event is open to EVERYONE! GKR Student or not! Bring your friends and family to support a great cause, and learn some life skills!

GRADING: THIS SUNDAY 🥋

Congratulations to all our students who get to attempt their next grade 👊

Here’s all the information you need to know:

📍Grading is taking place at Cedar mount academy, Wembley Road, M18 7DT

⏰Grading assessment will take place from 2-4pm

🟠🟢🔵🔴🟤Orange to Brown belts (7th to 2nd kyu) your grading begins at 2pm Sharp

⚪️🟡White and yellow belts your grading begins at 3pm

🥋belt awarding will take place at the end of the assessment

Don’t be late! Please arrive 15 minutes before your grading to insure a smooth sign in and a chance to warm up

🥋Full Gi must be worn including belt and badge is mandatory for grading
🥊Don’t Forget your FULL sparring equipment too if you need it for your grading criteria
💧Bring a bottle of water along to stay hydrated there will be drinks breaks

And Most importantly have fun 🤩
