THE SHOWCASE FREE TRIAL EVENT

Starting Monday 14th March, we will be hosting a three week trials event. This will be COMPLETELY FREE.
Age groups. u9s, u10s, u11s, u12s. There are 20 free spaces at each age group.

FORMAT -Each age group will receive two one hour training sessions. One in house assessment match. Selected players will go on to play in a showcase match against a premier league football club.

We are proud to have placed over 30 players into professional club academies over the past 3 years. Our players have gone to Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Everton, Burnley, Stoke, Wolves and Barnsley🏆

Starting Friday 3rd March SBFA will be opening a brand new U7s and U8s training programme working with John Williams⚽️

John’s experience with youth players and development is exceptional and has coached academy level football for over 25 years. He’s worked with some amazing players who went on to become professional footballers🥇

This programme is aimed at young players wanting to learn and progress and players can still play for grass roots teams. Our structured games will be played mid week. Parents will be updated with feedback on how players are progressing and sessions will be designed to help speed up areas of improvement.

Former professional football…Made his debut at the age of 16 in the championship vs Watford 2001. He also played in the stockport team that beat city 2-1 as well as in the europa league🥇

He set up the football academy 7 years ago after an injury for Salford forced him to retire. Since then the academy has gone from strength to strength having numerous players sign at pro clubs and also play for their country🏆

Each season the academy aims to get players trials and hopefully help them sign at pro clubs. They have hit target every year as Chris is Totally focused on delivering top quality sessions every coaching session⚽️

Due to continued success and players going on trial with pro clubs, we have a number of openings available within our EMJFL U13s & U14s squads. Both teams play in the Premier division, and train twice a week at the MEA Wythenshawe.
SBFA is a progressive club, run by ex-professional players and coaches, delivering academy level coaching.

Fantastic U13s EMJFL Primary Cup semi final today versus Unsworth. Went all the way to pens.
Game was played in a great spirit, both sets of players and supporters are a credit to their clubs.
Massive thanks to the Unsworth coach for stepping in to ref after we were let down.

Still play for your current grassroots club and train with us.
If you are looking for additional training on a Monday evening (U11,U12,U13) or Tuesday (U14, U15,U16), delivered by FA qualified coaches and ex-professional players, then please get in touch. Based at the MEA Wytheshawe, fantastic 4G facilities.
Players will also have the opportunity to play academy games against PL and EFL development teams.
