Your time to reflect ✨
We should never strive to be the same person we were 1 year ago or 5 years ago. We learn, develop and grow everyday.
Sometimes that growth is more visible to others and sometimes it’s only seen by you. The changes you see on the inside are the ones that matter the most.
Starting your yoga journey might be about the movement and what the body can do. But down the line you’ll start to understand that this practice allows you to be on a path of personal growth, offering tools to manage life’s challenges and live with greater purpose and calm. Striving to be the best version of yourself.
This path has allowed me to observe this year in a different light. Being so aware of everything my body does, understanding where to put my energy, and learning how to navigate so much change.
I am grateful for everything I have learnt this year and the growth continues from the inside out. 🫶🏻

Self-Care tips for Autumn 🍂🍁🥮
🍁Layer up and take a walk outside
This can be a walk around the block, a dog walk, walk with a friend, or a hike out in nature. Anything that gets you outside into the fresh air and sunlight on your skin.
🍁Indulge in tasty hot drinks
The spiced pumpkin drinks are back on the shelves and there’s no better time to indulge in tasty and warm hot drinks. Take yourself out on a solo date or arrange to catch up with a friend, remember that it’s not all doom and gloom in the colder months.
🍁Embrace the seasonal food
Autumn is a great time for warm nourishing food to enter our homes. Start to incorporate seasonal foods like sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, and other vegetables into your meals to change things up.
🍁Move your body daily
There is no right or wrong way to do this, when the weather gets colder we get excited for the cosy evenings but we start to slip with the things that matter to our body the most. Movement can be as small as stretching while the kettle is boiling, doing a 10 minute online class, or they can be bigger forms of movement like taking a walk, going to the gym or taking a class. You don’t have to leave the house, just remember to keep the body.
🍁Be kind to yourself
There’s a lot happening in the run up to Christmas, and it can sometimes feel like a lot of pressure to keep up with the people around us when it’s so cold and miserable outside. Always remember to be kind to yourself without making yourself isolated. Reserve your energy for those things you really want to do, whilst staying connected to those around you.
Always remember to fill up your own cup before filling up someone else’s. It’s so easy to get swept up in the flow of day to day life, putting others before yourself. But if you don’t nurture yourself, you’ll be less likely to nurture others to the best of your ability.
