South Manchester dog show

I have been agonising over this decision for a while now, and feel devastated to post this, but unfortunately, the show won't be going again as I have taken a step back 😢.

For some time it has primarily been just myself left to organise it, and over the past few years my work life has changed a lot, and I am unable to devote as much time to the great day that everybody has come to expect, and deserve.

I will be keeping the page open for now, and if anything changes in the future I will let you all know.

I would just like to thank Dogs 4 Rescue for enabling me to be the bossy so and so that I am, and to Emma for being a good sport and giving speeches she was "encoraged" to do 😆 whilst the rescue and Daycare 4 Dogs guys did their thing, parading the likes of the beloved Sherry, Grandad Zach and Winston around the show and the main ring ❤️ 💙 💜 💖
And last but not least, my heartfelt thanks goes to my long suffering and faithful family for helping at every show for the 8 years it has existed (even slapping on a smile when you had to wear the flattering Hi Viz vests!) ❤️.

I have met some amazing people over the years, and have really enjoyed overseeing such a happy day (especially the last part, when I could relax! 😆) I really hope you understand my decision, and much love to all. Angie # # #

Entry prices payable on the gate are as follows:
Adults £4
Children £3
Show classes £2 per entry (payable at the event shelter next to the main ring).

Show classes start at 12pm and will run throughout the day, It looks like the weather is being kind, so please remember to bring along water for your furry family members! (we will also have paddling pools and bowls of water scattered around the site) dogs are required to be kept on lead at all times for their own safety, and safety of others.

Please be advised to bring cash for entry, registration and the cricket club bar as their card machines have failed.
Most of all, we require you to please have a great day! 😊

Attention!!! Due to a terminal cash machine failure, it will be cash ONLY for payments all weekend at the Cricket Club, so if you’re coming down to the Funday on Sunday or The Dog Show on Monday please make sure you bring cash with you - Thank you & so very sorry for the inconvenience.

Parking at Wythenshawe Cricket & Sports Club will be limited. the car park itself is reserved for staff, volunteers, vendors and a limited amount of blue badge holders only.
There is ample parking close by on the industrial estate, on Harling, Bradnor and Paston Road's (see below maps) please do not park directly in front of the private residences on Longley lane itself.
Lets make it a wonderful day for all peeps!.
