โI donโt believe in transformations, theyโre all photoshopped.โ With that being how our first conversation went, the challenge was most definitely accepted.
In all honesty, as a coach I was NERVOUS to say the least. Steve is the first male โtransformationโ Iโve worked on, which I was open with him about from the outset, but this 12 weeks was going to not only push Steve way beyond his comfort zone, but me too. The greatest challenge of my coaching career to date.
However, I always say, being nervous is good; it means you care. BOY do I CARE about this manโs journey.

This transformation was by no means easy. These pictures show the beginning and the end, not the journey.
This is why I think a lot of people are sceptical about transformation photos as they donโt show the depth of work from the individual to achieve the results.
They donโt show the social sacrifices, the dedication, the determination, the frustrated partners, the failed reps, the sessions you drag yourself through, the volume of chicken sausages Steve got sick of eating and the genuine selfishness a process like this takes.
Hereโs to changing perceptions, believing and not an ounce of DAD BOD in sight. ๐ฅ

This was SO much more than a physical transformation.
With a sporting background, youโd apply the preconceived judgement to this client as someone that was fit, healthy, and had a confident handle on nutrition. However, years of on/ off season led to an ALL IN vs ALL OUT mentality.
These pictures are a bi product of this journey.
The core of which was to focus on โnot quitting for the fear of failureโ and LEARNING about nutrition to develop a healthy relationship with food.

Itโs not just about the physical changes. I could not be prouder of Lin and Iโm so happy to have been on this journey to a stronger, HAPPIER, YOU- both mentally and physically.

โI initially decided to do the 6 week challenge as Iโd completely lost my motivation and confidence in the gym, I knew I needed a kick start to get me back on track and this is exactly what I got! Alana has been so supportive and guided me through every step with such positivity! I canโt believe how far Iโve come in such a short space of time, 6 weeks felt like forever away before starting the programme, but pushing myself beyond what I thought were my limits has given me so much more than just physical benefits!
