LudoSport International

LudoSport. World's 1st Federation of Academies for lightsaber combat and arts.

In the Star Wars™ saga, the Seven combat Styles each have different characteristics, from which it is relatively simple for an expert to extract some movements which represent that particular combat style. LudoSport went beyond this point, formalising a full, complete technical system (theoretical and practical) for each Style, creating a true “common language” that allows anyone entering this sport to perform real combat. In addition Light Saber Combat does not derive from any other combat art in any way. This is because the various sports that inspired Light Saber Combat have not been used to supply single movements or techniques, but solely aspects that could be adapted to the instrument that this sport uses.

has officially come to an end! Eight unforgettable days filled with emotion, laughter, and so many special memories 💛

We would like to thank every participant for the energy they brought and for everything they shared with us, each in their own way.

SIS is a time to connect, enjoy being part of our community, and build bonds that remain long after everyone has gone home. It is also an intense challenge, with many hours devoted to study and training.
Taking part means working toward something greater than a qualification. It means choosing to give back to your Academy, contribute to the development of our sport, and help shape the athletes of tomorrow. This role calls for commitment, humility, and a genuine willingness to keep improving.

Simply reaching the end of these eight days is already something to be proud of. An examination reflects only one moment and cannot take away the work invested, the progress achieved, or the courage required to put yourself to the test.
Whatever the outcome, everyone leaves SIS having taken an important step forward. For some, the next step will be to continue preparing. For others, it will mean embracing a new role.

Heartfelt congratulations to everyone who passed the examination overseen by our Tecnici and Founding Masters 🎉
This milestone marks the beginning of a new responsibility, one that will take shape through the students you guide and everything you bring back to your Academy.

SIS may be over, but LudoSport 20th Anniversary celebrations will continue in the months ahead. There will be more chances to meet again and look toward the future as one community ✨

Thank you all for making these days so special! 🙏

The network welcomes a new Form 4 Dual Sabers Tecnico!

Congratulations to Adrien Dietschy 🇫🇷 on achieving this important milestone at 🎊

After successfully completing the required assessment with the Founding Masters, Adrien officially adds this new technical qualification to his journey within the network. We look forward to seeing him bring this knowledge into his future courses, where he will be able to pass it on to the next generation of instructors.
Congratulations, Adrien! 👏🏻

What better occasion than LudoSport’s 20th anniversary at SIS to celebrate a truly historic achievement?
For the first time, we are proud to announce a Cavaliere who has earned this rank with all three weapons ⚔️

Congratulations to Alessio D’Arrigo 🇮🇹, who successfully passed his examinations with the Founding Masters.
Reaching this level requires mastery of Forms 3, 4, and 5 in Long Saber, Dual Sabers, and Saberstaff—three distinct paths, each requiring its own set of techniques, as well as a high degree of control and understanding developed through years of study and practice.

This extraordinary accomplishment perfectly embodies the depth and versatility of the LudoSport training journey.

Well done, Alessio! 👏🏻
