We’ve been kicking off the Bank Holiday weekend with both our monthly club Parkrun visit to Alexandra Parkrun, and then representing at the first of the local neighbourhood grassroots of the season: ! 😍
Well done to all who ran this morning or who’ve been flying the flags loud and proud this afternoon at Pride on the Range, making ourselves known as the run club for LGBTQ+ people and allies in Manchester! 🏳️🌈❤️🏳️⚧️

Spring/summer = midweek race season! ☀️🏃
With lighter nights, some of our runners have been able to take part in local midweek evening races over the past couple of weeks, many hosted by other running clubs. We’ve seen:

Calling all women, non-binary, and trans+ runners in Manchester: it’s the return of our special “Cake and Pootle” runs on Sunday 24th May! 😀
Come and enjoy a gently paced “pootle” run with like-minded people from Manchester’s LGBTQ+ run club, followed by some coffee and cake! This time we’ll be at Heaton Park, meeting at the Lakeside Café at 10:50 am for an 11 am start. As well as members, this run is open to anyone who identifies as a woman or as a non-binary or trans+ person.
