We play mixed social touch (boys and girls) and we play all year round. We're not just a group of individuals chasing an oval ball; we're a group of people who enjoy keeping active, making connections and being social. Every week come rain or shine, we lace up our boots and hit Longford Park for an exhilarating session of touch rugby. Its totally FREE to play!

WHAT WE DO
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Our sessions are more than just sc scoring (though we do love a good try!). It's about camaraderie, laughter, and forging friendships. We blend the thrill of the game with a relaxed atmosphere, creating an environment where you can unwind, meet new people, and enjoy the benefits of physical activity. We will sometimes head for a drink after the games, although this tends to be more in the summer months.

HOW MUCH?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Its totally FREE! But any volunteering help is always welcome! Especially monitoring this page :)

ABOUT TOUCH RUGBY
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Touch rugby is a great game to play as its mixed, friendly, easy to pick up and is played by all ages. Although it shares some similarities with rugby union or rugby league there is no contact, in fact there is more contact with football. There are plenty of old hands on call who are able to help you through the first few games and there is no snobbery about ability, you'll still get the ball and get a game no matter what. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
WHERE?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Longford Park in the Stretford area of Manchester. We meet right next to Firswood Community Centre off the Quadrant Roundabout. See the link below for a map. https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit?mid=zjFeU0NUPleY.kO7IdotSRc_g

Public transport: Old Trafford Metro Stop, is about 10mins walk away from where we play. It is also well connected by bus.
