🐝 PLAYER OF THE MATCH 🐝

CHARLEY BROWN 🏆

What a performance. Charley was absolutely everywhere in attack, playing a huge part in nearly every try and finishing the afternoon with a hat-trick.

A constant threat with ball in hand and a nightmare for the Winnington Park defence all afternoon.

A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match award. 👏

Winnington Park 27–62 Old Bedians

What a way to start the league campaign! 🔥

A 62-point performance on the road sees Bedes kick off the season with a big win and carry that pre-season momentum straight into the league.

🏉 Charley Brown with a hat-trick
🏉 Adam Strong with two tries
💪 And standout performances right across the team, particularly from our new players, who made a huge impact on their Bedians league debuts.

A fantastic team effort and a brilliant start to the campaign.

On to next week.

🏆 PLAYER OF THE MATCH | CAMERON IMRIE 🏆

What a performance from our centre Cameron Imrie!

Not only did Cameron cross the line with an outstanding try, but he put in a fantastic all-round performance to help Bedes secure a 21–12 victory over Littleborough. A thoroughly deserved Player of the Match award. 👏

A special shoutout also goes to Will Readman. Our flanker was absolutely everywhere on Saturday, putting in some phenomenally dominant tackles throughout the game. 💥

Two big performances as we get our season underway.

Next game: Winnington Park away on 3rd October.
