It’s nothing personal, but we CANNOT rely on Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee anymore. ❌

Both are clearly great guys, but it’s just not worked out for them at Manchester United .2/3 years is enough to judge whether players are going to properly make it here.

Mount has been riddled with injuries, which has meant any substantial run in the side has been non-existent + when he is available still struggles to impose himself.

Zirkzee has great technical qualities, but has failed to nail down a consistent position in the side + clearly struggles with Premier League intensity.

This match against sunderland was a nice little reminder how much we truly need in the market this summer for the recruitment team. 🤷‍♂️
