Ellee Cheetham makes Scotland squad six months after gymastics return Ellee Cheetham came out of gymnastics retirement in November, was crowned Scottish all-around champion three months later and, having originally planned to watch from the stands, now finds herself competing instead at this summer's Commonwealth Games.

As a club we are delighted to share the incredible news that our very own Ellee Cheetham has been selected to represent TEAM SCOTLAND competing at this summer’s Commonwealth Games! 🤩👏🏼🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 And best of all it’s in Glasgow! Representing Scotland competing in Scotland 🙌🏼😍🫶🏼

Such an incredible honour and huge achievement for Ellee her coaches and the club. Ellee started her gymnastics with us at the age of 4 and she never looked back! After a break from the sport as an adult she returned to training back in November 2025. By February 2026 she was crowned Scottish National Champion! This became the start of her journey to the Games 🥹👏🏼🥰

It’s been a whirlwind but she’s done it all in true Ellee style - she doesn’t do things half hearted! 🥰

📣 EQUIPMENT SALE 🤸‍♀️

After upgrading some of our equipment within the gym, we are looking to sell some equipment that is still in good condition. We have a range of mats and apparatus available. Covers may show some signs of wear, but everything is still in perfectly usable condition.

Available items include:

🔹Medium safety mats – 20cm thick
🔹2m x 2m landing mats – 5cm & 10cm thick
🔹4m landing mats – 5cm & 10cm thick
🔹Approx. 2m x 2m foam piece – ideal as a base or underlay (e.g. beneath a foam pit)
🔹Floor pommel horses
🔹Gymnova inflatable wedge – slow leak at the valve which may be repairable
🔹Extra large biscuit/landing mat
🔹4 pairs of Gymnova P-Bar rails (2 old sets, 2 new style)
