🏉 Congratulations to the 14 outstanding collegiate athletes who will take the leap from campus to the professional ranks in the 2026 MLR College Draft!
These draftees represent the next generation of domestic rugby talent stepping into Major League Rugby from the top of the college game.
Life University, Cal Berkeley and Saint Mary’s continue to set the standard, each leading the pack with multiple drafts, Logan Ballinger from Life selected as the #1 pick and heading to Old Glory DC. Representations have also come from Lindenwood, Cal Poly, Mount St. Mary’s, Walsh, Mary Washington, Arkansas State and Brown, whose flanker Owen Clarke will make the switch to the New England Free Jacks as #5 pick.
Eight of the draftees are from the USA, with two each from South Africa and New Zealand, one Australian and one Scotsman.

Congratulations to Joe Bradstock who has committed to Union Commonwealth University in Kentucky.
Joe is a talented central midfielder who has played for MK Dons (Pre-Academy Level) where he was a CEFA League title winner and MK City (U18s and Men’s), as well as Denbigh School, where he won the Buckinghamshire Schools FA County Cup.
He has joined the Union Commonwealth University, Ky. program this Fall, playing under head coach Jonathan Shaw. The Bulldogs enjoyed a superb season last year, winning the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament Championship and reaching the second round of the NAIA National Championship. They have also made a great start this year, and are 2-0 for their opening two games.
We wish you every success at Union Commonwealth University and look forward to following your progress as a student-athlete.
