🙌🏼 FirstPoint athlete Yannick Kraus has capped off a fabulous freshman year by being selected to represent Germany at next month’s World Athletics U20s Championships!

The Harvard University student-athlete, who competes in the decathlon, will take his place on the world stage at Eugene, Oregon, having posted an impressive 7,407 points in the German Decathlon Championships.

The Track & Field Athletics UAE track and field star has been in great form for Harvard Track & Field / XC and will be looking to return to the States to compete at the iconic Oregon Track & Field stadium from 5 - 9 August.

Ben, a ‘27 track and field candidate, will compete in the 4 x 100m relay at the iconic Hayward Fields, University of Oregon, with the championships being staged from 5 - 9 August.

Congratulations to FirstPoint athlete Freddy Albutt who has committed to Bryant and Stratton College in Rochester, NY.

A talented midfielder from Wolverhampton, Freddy currently plays for Pelsall Villa Men’s team, having previously starred for Rushall Olympic.

He will join the BSC Bobcats Rochester men’s soccer program this Fall and will team up with head coach Darren Wynne. The Bobcats captured their first-ever USCAA D1 Small Colleges Men’s Soccer National Championship in 2023. They finished 10-7-3 last season and secured an at-large bid to the USCAA National Tournament, reaching the second round.

We wish you every success at Bryant and Straton College, and look forward to following your progress as a college soccer player!

🙌🏼 Impressive golf from FirstPoint ‘27 candidate Jenson Fergusson at the Scottish Boys Amateur Championship, finishing in second place in the stroke play qualifying at Fraserburgh.

The talented Royal Troon golfer carded no fewer than 12 birdies in 36 holes, posting rounds of 69 and 66 for a 5-under total of 135.

He goes into today’s match play stages of the prestigious national tournament as the #2 seed. Good luck, Jenson!
