Kiki is 11 years old, weighs 11 stone and at risk of diabetes. Although he is obese, his diet is good and he is one of the sportiest kids at school. Rangan must discover why Kiki can't lose weight and come up with a solution quickly to keep school bullies at bay. Kiki's father, Mark, has chronic back pain and suffers from stress. A former athlete, he can barely move on some days and it is destroying his relationship with his son.

Had a lot of fun at the FRC seminar with Adam Shackell this last couple of days.
Dr Andreo Spina worded this better than I can, so here are some thoughts for you all: -
Your body got injured due to overloading the body by training with bad patterns / movement capability etc
When you come and get assessed and then follow the programme to address the issues you have, at the point you become PAIN FREE you are effectively only back to your NORMAL function.
Your NORMAL function wasn't able to cope with the demands of training before. People often stop their sessions with me at this point, thinking they are fixed, but their function still has a long way to go.
You need to IMPROVE your function. Improving your function will help you to perform better this is more important than doing that squat cycle with bad function.
As Phil Mansfield and I have said before: -
"Don't make a bad squat stronger make your squat better"
Replace squat with any sport, skill etc.
We need to train our bodies better.
