MMAFIT is based on the high intensity interval training format, tailored to suit all fitness levels.
HIIT (high intensity interval training) is the strength and conditioning format most commonly used by pro MMA fighters, grapplers and other sports professionals worldwide.
Its a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.
Benefits of combining this training method with apparatus such as slam balls, battleropes and kettlebells include increased strength, muscle endurance, higher fitness levels and with a healthy diet weight loss.
A typical class involves 1 minute 'stations' where its you against the clock trying to get as many repetitions in as possible, as you progress though the camp your fitness and muscle endurance levels will rise enabling you to perform more reps which will have a sn*******ng effect again increasing you fitness and endurance.

Every session push yourself to do more reps, work harder and faster, start on the bell and go right to the end bell every station, you will be very surprised at how much you improve over just a couple of weeks.

Second session done, 18 mins from start to finish :) no 'state of the art' equipment or complicated routines, just simple effective training methods designed to take you to your limit very quickly and have you push through.

The 'gym' vs Bootcamp
The gym experience:
Being stuck around all the posers checking themselves out, queuing to use the machines, having no plan because you never know what equipment you will be able to use when you get there, not being able to set out your own stations as someone comes along and takes one of them, spending half of your time on your phone, then doing 'a bit' usually with bad form, then going to the sauna for an hour.
Bootcamp:
In and out within 30 mins max, help with your nutrition and recovery, stations already prepared, a professional instructor showing you how to use the equipment properly, private gym with just you and others on the camp, no time to check your phone, mince around or have a chat, a productive planned training session which alters to meet your needs as the weeks progress, an environment where people on the same mission as you are pushing each other to improve and achieve their goals.

Training for MMA involves exercises designed to push your fitness, strength and muscle endurance, as a fighter He or she has to be powerful and fast, and have enough endurance to be able to perform at high level for five 5-minute rounds.
Designed for people of all fitness levels MMAFIT BOOTCAMP incorporates these methods to develop your attributes over 6 weeks.
The training program addresses all of the above qualities found in professional athletes, set up with 1 minute 'stations' you will work to improve your output as the weeks progress, as your output gets higher due to your improved fitness levels this has a sn*******ng effect where you will perform more reps within the minute pushing your fitness and muscle endurance even higher! its you against you, this is the beauty of strength and conditioning training for combat sports.
The next 6 week camp starts Monday 17th september, classes are 3 times per week mon, wed, fri 5.30pm - classes last 30 minutes.
