Mentoring has become one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.

On Wednesday, Sam and I went beyond what he wants to achieve and focused on why it matters…because a goal without a strong enough why rarely survives the difficult days.

Proud of the work he’s putting in.

Someone asked me today how business was going.

And without even thinking, I started telling them about everything that was going wrong.

The problems. The delays. The stress. The things that haven’t gone to plan.

Then afterwards I thought… what a ridiculous way to look at it.

Because if I actually zoom out, a lot of really good s**t has happened too.

The business is growing. We’re doing more. Learning more. Meeting better people. Getting opportunities that I’d have been desperate for 12 months ago.

But for some reason, when you’re in the middle of it, the problems seem to take up 90% of your headspace.

I suppose this is just a reminder to myself as much as anyone else:

Building something is messy.

There are going to be days where it feels like everything is going wrong.

Just don’t become so obsessed with fixing the problems that you completely miss the fact that you’re making progress.

And if you’re going through a period where it all feels a bit heavy …. so is everyone else.

Keep going. Zoom out occasionally. There’s probably a lot more going right than you think.

Why we routinely beat the top brands.

We aren’t stuffy. Buying luxury furniture or any luxury item should be an exciting experience. was born out of my love for The Hamptons. A place where luxury thrives. However, the best thing about The Hamptons… it feels like home.

We want our experience to be exactly the same. I’ve been in multiple shops and made to feel like you can’t afford what’s in there by the staff. Or possibly worse. You’ve gone for a look around, and then been pounced on by the sales person.

I can assure you, our showroom is none of the above. Which is why more and more people every week choose us over the next luxury furniture company.

DM “showroom” and I’ll send you the booking link.

🔥 POWER ENGINE – PARTNER SMASH

Ran this yesterday.

90 second hard efforts.
3 rounds per block.
Split the work however you like.
No hiding.

This is the type of session that builds real hybrid capacity:

• High output under fatigue
• Fast transitions
• Shared suffering
• Threshold tolerance

The goal wasn’t survival.
The goal was sustained power.

If you’re training for HYROX, DEKA, or just want a bigger engine — sessions like this are money.

Save it.
Tag your training partner.
Try not to sandbag the ski.

Stop training abs like an 80’s bodybuilder.

Rollouts train anti-extension your abs fight to stop your lower back arching.

That hits:
• Transverse abdominis (deep corset muscle)
• Obliques
• Re**us abdominis
• Spinal stabilisers

Strong deep core =
✔️ Tighter waist
✔️ Better lifts
✔️ Stronger running mechanics
✔️ More athletic “abs”

Try this finisher:
3 rounds
– 8–12 Ab Rollouts
– 30s Dead Bug
– 10/side Pallof Press
– 30s RKC Plank

Abs are revealed in the kitchen.
But they’re built through smart training.

Definitely impossible to squeeze into 20 pictures! Equally as challenging to sum up into a caption too.

A year filled with so many amazing experiences and some challenges along the way too. Wouldn’t change it for anything.

On we roll to 2026!

PS… Every year I write down my goals. Some of which I hit and some I don’t. If you’re one of those people who passes off goal setting as a fad. Do it this year, and you’ll be surprised with what you achieve!

Where do I begin with …

Here are the facts:

✅ 12 months
✅ 252 PT sessions
✅ 20kg of weight lost

But the most important stat of all?

This company director and dad of two makes it to the gym for every single session we book.

That’s the real key to success: relentless consistency.

Dave deliberately puts his health and training at the top of his priority list. It’s not always easy — with constant travel, red-eye flights, jet lag, and long days — but he still shows up. Every time.

He does the hard part. The rest is down to me.

We all have reasons not to train. Dave proves that if it matters enough, you’ll find a way.
