Last game of the seniors season as our 1XV welcome Bolton for an afternoon of rugby at Bongs HQ

Games earlier in the season between both sides have been entertaining and no doubt the same to follow tomorrow.

The weather is looking belting, the touchline is expected to be busy with the 30 Bob Club in attendance, plus many others expected to be down at St George’s Park for the last fixture of the season.

Usual admin guy on a sabbatical this weekend but the key facts are:

Saturday 25th April
Kick Off is 3pm
Bar will be open from 12pm
Kitchen will be open too.
The sun most likely will be shining

We enjoyed the weekday game so much last week, Aspull have agreed to come to Bongs HQ for another Wednesday night clash!

Our Mighty 2s welcome Aspull 3s for the final fixture of an interesting season.

A 6.30pm Kick Off with the weather looking fantastic!

If you can get down to the club, the lads will appreciate all the support! The bar will be open too!

Been a rollercoaster season for our 2s with many highs and a few lows.

With 15 out of the 20 lads selected being u19s and graduates of our M&J section, fantastic to see the transition of many into Senior Rugby.

A busy clubhouse is expected with the two fixtures on tonight including the Rugby League Scholarship game.

As always the support is greatly appreciated by the lads.

Excellent win at Bongs HQ for our 1XV!

🔵 Tyldesley 40 - 26 Collegiate ⚪️

With a number of injuries and holidays saw the opportunity for several of our Snr Colts to step up to 1XV rugby. They all played fantastically!

11 out of the 18 today all played Snr Colts rugby in last two seasons and didn’t look out of place!

Fantastic contest and thank you Collegiate for their part in an excellent game.

Senior Colts ended their season as league winners following a fantastic win over Burnley 🎉🏆

Some of these lads have played at the club since 5 years old and during this time have seen the team on the brink of folding to now 25+ players available each week.

Credit to Coach Dave C for his efforts and commitment to the lads over the years.

As the lads approach the end of their M&J’s journey. Some will go onto play for our seniors sides, some will move away for work/uni.

Whatever you decide to do with yourselves, we wish all the lads the very best and to know there will be always be a place at Tyldesley RUFC for them.
