Although the result wasn’t the one the lads would have wanted, there were some fantastic passages of rugby on display and a brilliant effort from everyone who stepped onto the pitch. 💙

A special shout-out goes to those who, before Saturday, had never stepped foot on a rugby pitch other than to train. To pull on the shirt, get stuck in and give it everything in a match situation takes some serious courage, and you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves. 👏

Congratulations to the wonderful Fred Leatherbarrow, on being named the ECB Lancashire Cricket Collective Official of the Year.

This prestigious award recognises Fred’s outstanding dedication, professionalism and many years of service to cricket. His commitment as an official, mentor and ambassador for the game has earned the respect of players, clubs and fellow officials across Lancashire.
