A consistent performer and respected leader, Johnson has become one of the club’s most trusted players, earning admiration from teammates, coaches, and supporters alike through his professionalism, work ethic, and commitment to the badge.

The Canadian forward enjoyed another strong campaign in 2025/26, recording 36 points in 50 league appearances while taking on an even greater leadership role within the dressing room. His versatility, hockey IQ, and ability to influence games in all situations continue to make him an invaluable part of the Storm line-up.

With 203 league appearances and 141 points already to his name in Manchester colours, Johnson’s place in the club’s recent history is firmly established.

Now returning for a fifth season as the Storm prepare for life at the AO Arena, Stevo remains a key figure both on and off the ice.

Following this evening’s announcement, Manchester Storm can confirm that #23 Gary Haden will not be returning for the 2026/27 season.

During the 2025/26 season, Gary made 65 appearances for the Storm across all competitions, recording 19 goals and 34 assists for 53 points.

We thank Gary for his commitment, professionalism, and contributions to the club during his time in Manchester, and wish him every success in Dundee.
