Great to be back today its been a long hard struggle, can't use inside the premises yet,but thank goodness for a great day weather wise,and a great first win on the opening day of the season, NHCC onwards and upwards,,

Attempted break in at our club last night ,I'm baffled we've been closed for a year what we're they expecting to find in there its empty, big thank you for the person who called the police we are aware who you are and its very much appreciated from all in the club.

Newton Heath cricket club received some sad news today about the death of Johnny Morton, a former Steward at our club, In the late 1980's, Johnny a staunch supporter of our club helped launch a football team that would bring life and money into the club during the winter month's, He was Manager of the team that one season won every competition it was possible to win in the Gorton Sunday League, Johnny was also captain of our very Successful Darts team. Although Johnny moved away some time ago he lived for many years next to the club on Crosby Road, Our thoughts and prayers are with his Wife Margaret .

After donating loads of logs and wood from our ground heres what south failsworth infant school did with them , What a fantastic job, It was a pleasure to help out ,

Always nice to help out the kiddies with the new logs for a seating area in their school, Enjoy from everybody at our cricket club,

Final preparations are underway ahead of a potential start to the season on 25th July. Shout out to everyone who turned out today for our work party Michael Kay Joe Williams Ian Ockerby Luke Barrow Joe Robinson Graham Ford and Phil McGarry, who took two buses from Stockport just to help out 👍🏻.
