We are a small and friendly running club based in Sale, Greater Manchester. This public group is mainly for information.
We aim to provide runners of all abilities with a safe environment and the motivational support needed to start running, keep running and get better at running. Come and join us on one of our free runs and, if you enjoy the experience, become a member of the club. Most of our discussions and run details appear on our members page which is linked to below. We’re back with the Trafford Trails 5 mile. It will take place on Monday 13th July and places are available from nifty entries (link in the description!) It a great summer get together with spot prizes, unique medals, good vibes and plenty of cake! It’s a race for everyone to enjoy whether you’re a rapid Dave or elite back runner! Get signed up for this fun run along the river, invite your mates and get a b**r at the club house at the end watching the sun go down!

What a fantastic night we had last night for the Lift the Curfew campaign.
Lots of local running clubs joined us for the run and there was nearly 100 of us pounding the streets of Sale together with the party boom box.

LIFT THE CURFEW
On Tuesday October 28th dragons running club sale will be hosting an event running from The Sale pub.
We will be meeting at the pub from 6pm onwards and once everyone has arrived we will all run together a distance of 5k.
Since October 2023 “This Girl Can” has been running a campaign supported by England Athletics to raise awareness for woman running or taking part in physical activity in the dark. The campaign is to highlight how many people feel vulnerable or unsafe during the dark nights and would most likely choose not to be out after dark therefore impacting how or when they would exercise.
Everyone should have the right to feel safe. Everyone should have the right to exercise at any time they choose.
Dragons running club would like to invite anyone …. Male or female, to join us for a night of fun in raising awareness and to take part in this campaign.
