I think a lot of mentors have completely fu**ed coaches expectations of what building your business actually looks like.

Over the past 3-4 years I’ve been surrounded by people that have HUGE businesses.

And I’m not talking about people in the fitness industry either.

People turning over multi-7 figures a year.

People with hundreds of members of staff.

Boards of directors and full management structures.

And not a single one of them, at any stage, is just growth, growth, growth.

It’s not linear.

It simply doesn’t work like that.

It’s absolutely okay to have intentional times where you’re doing less.

As long as that’s balanced with sprints where you are balls-to-the-wall grafting.

It would be mint if every single month was a PB month.

And if that was realistic, then we’d all be chilling on beaches drinking Margaritas in the next 3-5 years.

The reality is far less exciting, and far less glamorous.

It’s very easy to get sucked in…

Pushing the business is a huge focus of yours, so it’s natural that certain things are front of mind.

And there’s f**k all wrong with that.

As long as you’re still putting enough emphasis on the stuff that really matters.

That “stuff” being your clients.

Every single week inside The Amplifier we share our biggest client wins.

And reading them is f**king mint.

Getting to see the impact that our incredible coaches are having on people on a weekly basis is infectious as f**k.

What a time to be alive.

One of the things that’s holding you back from pushing your business when you know you should, is that you have no idea how you can do more and work with more people.

You’re already “busy”.

You already “have no time”.

At Georgie’s event last month, we got asked how we get so much done.

The question was about overwhelm, and knowing what to do, when to do it, and how to do it.

This was my answer.

The brutal reality is that until you’re at a point where you can delegate, this ALL falls on you.

So the worst thing you can do is fill your time with “busy work”, that isn’t important OR urgent.

This is a fantastic question.

Momentum, and experience are unbelievably important when building a business.

Getting that experience of actually working with people ASAP will help on all fronts.

Especially if you start to get some decent results with people.

I think a lot of coaches rush into “building their offer”, or “niching down”, or focussing on content before they even know if this is what they actually want to do.
