Join Mandy next Sunday as she combines both Yoga Nidra with Yin Yoga and Sound Bowls.
The practice of Nidra draws your attention inwards, and we learn to surf between the states of wakefulness and sleep, where your body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) β the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness. Yin Yoga takes us into passive, relaxing postures held for longer periods of time which encourage to body to slow down and release tension and tightness in a gentle and relaxing manner. Combining Yin, Nidra with sound healing gives an even more relaxing, intense yet blissful experience. Expect to feel weightless, calm and renewed in this (literally) dreamy event.

Hot Pilates is a challenging full-body workout using the Pilates principles. Its high intensity, low impact format is designed to strengthen muscles without the pounding of high impact workouts.
Some benefits to Pilates are improved flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, improved posture, relaxation of your shoulders, neck and upper back,
increased body awareness and stress management and relaxation. When combining Pilates with the benefits of heat (better sleep and relaxation, detoxification, relief from sore muscles and improved circulation to name just a few!) you get yourself a well-rounded, super rewarding workout like no other.

Join Becca and experience all that Mandala yoga has to offer. In this two hour experience you'll explore the element of Air through breathwork and meditation, yin yoga and a Mandala flow.
Air represents our mental activity such as intellect and the ability to reason, as well as memory, thoughts, knowledge and comprehension. It also rules new beginnings, friendship, clarity, and positive expression. It is associated with the heart chakra located in the chest. Air is associated with movement and freedom so expect this to be reflected throughout the physical practice.

Join Zoe on Friday 21st February at 7pm for an immersive hour at Studio38.
A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are βbathedβ in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, in this case healing instruments that are crystal sound bowls.
The music doesnβt have a catchy melody or rhythm like youβd experience at a rock concert or symphony but, instead, is a wash of sound, engulfing participants encouraging relaxation, soothing, healing and balancing both the body and mind.

Join Jay on Saturday 1st March at 11:15am to move rhythmically to music, flow to the beat, move as a group and individually. Expect to feel grounded, strong and swept away in the moment.
Jay will guide you through a strong, non-heated flow, moving your body continuously and dynamically. Allow the music to carry you and feel empowered by the strong, tribal movements of the hour.
We recommend some prior knowledge and experience of yoga for this class.

Join Becca for this six week course to give you the tools and techniques to begin or continue your HOT yoga journey. Each week you'll explore flexibility, strength and mobility exercises as well as working through the core foundational yoga postures, slowly building stamina in the heated room along with strength and alignment, fine-tuning poses week on week as well as exploring the calming, relaxing and restorative side that yoga has to offer.
With Becca's experience, she'll be able to guide you week on week, slowing down the mind, working with your breath and breaking down postures in simple steps, along with guidance and tips for practicing safely and comfortably in a hot room. Having worked in yoga studios for some time, Becca understands that yoga, and even more so hot yoga, can be daunting at times, therefore her classes at lead at a pace for everyone, making hot yoga accessible to all.
The course is for anyone, at any level of yoga - all bodies, genders, ages and sizes. Please note: there are limited spaces on this programme to allow for a more personalised approach.
