Meet Rafiq, our newly appointed Events Coordinator! 🎉

Rafiq is nooo stranger to MSSM. 🥸🥸🥸

Having previously served as the Welfare Officer during the 2024/25 tenure, he has returned to continue serving the Malaysian student community in Manchester. 🥳

He was also one of the scriptwriters for MCR MNight 2026, bringing his creativity and experience into one of MSSM’s major annual productions. 💃🕺

Now, as Events Coordinator, Rafiq helps bring our ideas to life and plays a key role in creating the events and experiences that bring our community together. 🤝

[OFFICIAL STATEMENT] Vacancy of Events Coordinator 2025/2026 Position

Following the resignation of Tan Ten Jin as Events Coordinator of MSSM 2025/2026, one Events Coordinator position is now vacant.

Applications are now open for any MSSM member interested in filling the role for the remainder of the 2025/2026 tenure. Interested members may contact Max Ng Tze Khai, President 2025/2026, via WhatsApp at +447778742505 (or DM us MSSM).

Internal interviews will be conducted by the Committee before 7th July 2026 (Tuesday), and the outcome will be announced here on our Instagram.
