Age Group Changes Information

Here are some details of the England Athletics Age Groups. Each competition may vary with events they put on, so please check with the competition organisers or the individual rules etc.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as these changes are new to everyone (athletes, coaches, officials, etc.) starting at this upcoming season.

Please get in touch if you have any questions about the new changes.

Congratulations to Olivia for becoming Champion in the 60m and the 1500m at the Junior Para champs!

Incredible achievement, showing great versatility and hard work!

Reminder the track is closed from tomorrow for a short period. Training is still on with alternative sessions. Meet near the track for registration 😀

CHANGE OF DATE: the council has informed us that the track will now be temporarily closed from 23rd Feb as the lights are being replaced. There will be no access to the track during the works.

*We will still be training at the usual times with an alternative set up. Meet close to the track for registration with Elaine.*

We will send out a reminder closer to the time now the start date has been changed.

Sportshall super stars! 🤩

Huge well done to all that competed in the GM champs last weekend!

Team Blackley were successful over the league winning the U15G and U15B third place cups! 🏆

At the champs, the U11 girls came away with bronze 🥉 in the relay and Isaac became a double champ 🥇🥇 in the 2 laps and standing triple jump. Jax won a silver medal 🥈in his first ever sportshall competition in the 3 lap! Lucy also medalled in the speed bounce!

We also had multiple athletes qualifying for semi finals and finals, and some great performances in individual events!

Cracking results! You should be proud 👏👏👏
