π₯BUCS Round Up : Womenβs Teamπ₯
The womens team had a BETTER weekend coming home with a MEDAL (!!!!!!). Iβm so proud of how the team played all weekend and we really put a years worth of hard work into practice. Ended in the final on 3-1 to Loughborough after an amazing game where everyone gave it their all.
Shout Outs π
Chloe for getting speared (dangerous and deliberate), Finn for rolling with the ball (π) Phoebe for saving everything, thea for swimming, Niamh for being good under pressure and Hannah holding the defence
Overall no particular player stood out as everyone played super well, and this isnβt a cop out, I actually mean it!
Thank you so much also to Alicia for all the amazing vibes and sorting all our water bottles out constantly, Kirsten for coaching, shelly for his photography and dily for letting us have Kirsten # # # see you all next year when weβll win and not just come second.

β¨BUCS Round Up : Open Teamβ¨
The open team had a great weekend with some tough competition and a hard group, but given they had no subs they played incredibly well. They came second in their group, eventually coming 8th, after a great final game against bath, where they only lost on golden goal, this means BUCS points! The captain would like to highlight the defence surpassed his low expectations, and would like to blame the sewage leaks in sale for the teams inability to train, and thus shoot on target.
Shout outs π
Sam G for swimming, Joshβs cards, Kirstenβs cards, Hamishs keeping after not training ever, Mattβs breaks, Sam B for being good under pressure

β¨Final Div 2β¨
Our last div 2 weekend was an absolutely blazing success: WE DIDNT LOSE ALL OUR GAMES π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯. Congrats to the whole team, Phoebe, Matt O, Matt S, Sam, Sam and Finn (new addition π) for their efforts. Iβm sure itβs not related but so bizarre that we didnβt lose all our games after we swapped josh with Finn... what a coincidence! Our only regional outside tournament so hope everyone really felt the joy of waiting around in cold wet kit and not having enough time to eat! Canβt wait to do it all again at BUCS. thanks to Maddie for coaching, and Hannah for supporting from the sideβ¦ and with that we finish NWC regional at the bottom of the table # #
Stats time (disclaimer, according to the website, over the year)

Least goals: Pheobe and Sam B, 0 (suckers)
