As a club, we’re so proud of what we’ve built at Blackley Rangers — and we’re so grateful for all the lovely feedback we get from families. We do everything we can with what we have: warm drinks and biscuits after every session, monthly chippy and pizza teas, all for just £1 a session. Because rugby should be about community, not cost.

But the thing we’re most proud of? We don’t turn any child away. Ever.

It breaks our hearts to know that in this area, there are children who want to play rugby — who deserve to play rugby — and are being told no. For all kinds of reasons. Reasons that shouldn’t matter.

We say YES.
✅ Yes, if they have SEND needs
✅ Yes, if they’re neurodivergent
✅ Yes, if they need extra support, patience, or a different approach
✅ Yes, every single child who wants to be here — belongs here.

We will always try our best to adapt. But we can’t do it alone. If your child has triggers, sensory needs, or coping techniques that help them — please be open with us. Tell us what works, what doesn’t, what we can do differently. We’ll listen. We’ll learn. We’ll adjust. That’s what a team does.

We welcome girls AND boys — from age 4 right up to 12, and we’re growing for older children too.
First session is completely free — come and see us, no pressure, just come and be part of something different.

This isn’t just a rugby club. This is a family. And there’s always room for one more. 💛

Start dusting your kids boots off folks Rugby is back on Tuesday 6pm at the running track. Hope you have all had a good summer 🌞 time to start getting wet 🌧 and muddy again see you all on Tuesday 🏉🏉🏉🏉

Anyone looking for something to do on bank holiday Sunday, charity bike show, live music great atmosphere. Stockport Town Centre less than 5 mins from the bus or train station.

Right people sorry to do this but Rugby is not on again till September. As you know all the coaches give their time up for free and due coaches commitments and holidays over the summer we have decided this is the best thing to do. Hope everyone enjoys the rest off the summer holidays and see you all back in September with avengeance 🏉🏉🏉

Rugby every Tuesday aged 4 years old up both Girls & Boys only £1 a session. Boggart Hole Clough Running Track 6pm-7.30pm.

Also Wednesday is Manchester Play Day in the Clough so come along to both if you want something to do with the kids 🏉🏉🏉
