🚨 NEW: Summer transfer window summary via
Budget: Around ÂŁ200M + sales.
Priorities: Central midfield is the main focus, especially after Casemiro’s exit. United expect to sign at least 1 midfielder, possibly up to 3. Luke Shaw (30) and Harry Maguire (33) both have question marks over handling three games a week.
Major targets: Progressing on a £35M deal for Éderson. Interest in West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes. Still in for Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, though Manchester City lead and £120M fee is steep. Alternatives include Sandro Tonali and Carlos Baleba.
Outgoing: Casemiro, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia leaving on frees. United want to sell Marcus Rashford (Barça option until June 15), Manuel Ugarte, Joshua Zirkzee, Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana.
Contracts: Talks ongoing to keep Bruno Fernandes. Tom Heaton (40) set for one-year extension.

🚨🚨Ryan Giggs speaks on the delay in the Éderson deal.
đź—ŁWhen a deal drags on this long, it usually means there are still a few questions being asked behind the scenes. It doesn't always come down to the transfer fee. Sometim
es clubs want extra guarantees, agents are negotiating details, or managers are making sure the player is the right fit before everything is signed off.
đź—ŁFrom Manchester United's point of view, they'll want to be absolutely certain. Ederson has quality, physicality and experience, but when you're spending serious money, you don't rush. The club has made mistakes in the market before, so there will naturally be some caution around the final stages of the negotiations."
đź—ŁI also think there may still be discussions about the overall structure of the deal. Modern transfers aren't as simple as agreeing a fee anymore. Payment terms, bonuses and contract details can all slow things down, even when both sides want the move to happen."
đź—ŁThe positive thing is that there hasn't been any indication that the deal is off. It feels more like a case of ironing out the final details. Hopefully both clubs can find common ground because if United believe Ederson is the right man, then it's important they get it over the line and move on to the next piece of business.

We need to start preparing for life without Bruno Fernandes.
He’s 31 now, at absolute PEAK creativity, leadership and output.
Realistically, we get 3 years max of this level before age, wear-and-tear and inevitable decline kick in.
We have to maximise EVERY single one of those seasons instead of sleepwalking through them hoping he carries on forever.
There is no replacing Bruno Fernandes. There will probably NEVER be another player with his unique cocktail of vision, passing range, goal threat from midfield and sheer will to win.
A MAN WHO BENDS GAMES TO HIS OWN WILL.
Chasing a “new Bruno” is a trap. What we can do is build a system and squad that spreads that creative load across the entire team so the drop-off isn’t catastrophic when the day comes(and it will come).
•Develop Mainoo into a progressive 8 who can carry and unlock.
•Sign technicians (Ederson/MateusFernandes/Anderson types, Vitinha-Neves profile) who can control tempo, play through pressure and create from deeper areas.
•Get wingers and a striker who make intelligent runs and offer consistent end product so we’re not 100% reliant on Bruno’s deliveries.
If the system is right, the sum of many good creators and connectors can deliver half or more of Bruno’s current output on a consistent basis, with better longevity and less injury risk.
Use these next 3 years to extract maximum value from Bruno while simultaneously building the infrastructure that makes United less dependent on any single magician.
That’s smart planning 🧠.
I watched the Vitinha–Neves duo against Arsenal yesterday in the UCL final and I can see why Michael Carrick wants technicians as his pivots instead of players like Baleba and Tchouaméni.
This is exactly why the Ederson move makes a lot of sense. He’s basically like Vitinha at Wolves but give him a more structured team and he could explode alongside Mainoo, Fernandes, and whoever United bring in between Tonali and Anderson.
They can all carry the ball, drop deep, defend, and still not choke under pressure.

🚨 BREAKING:
Manchester United have made contact with the representatives of Rafael Leão to understand the player’s availability and the conditions of a potential transfer.
The initial discussions are understood to be exploratory, with United gathering information as they continue to assess options to strengthen their attack this summer.
🚨🎙️ Patrice Evra on Eze and Gabriel miss in the penalty shootout leading to Arsenal loss to PSG in the Champions League final.
“Everyone is hammering Gabriel for his miss tonight, but let’s be real — no one is talking about Eze’s shocker. Gabriel is a defender, shooting has never been his strength.
But Eze? He’s an attacking player, he’s supposed to deliver on the biggest stage. The technique on that penalty was so bad, my friend. You don’t reach the Champions League final and drop that.
Sad to say it didn’t work out for Arsenal… I’m genuinely worried how Eze will come back from that feeling, because the fans and the whole world will never forget this.”
