π₯ Medal Monday: London Marathon edition π₯
Four Harriers hit the capital over the weekend taking on rising temperatures and huge crowds. Nuala, Liam and Alan dug deep to deliver gritty races in true Harrier style. Hannah celebrated her 100th marathon - fuelled by - in support of . Fundraising has now reached nearly Β£90k π€―
On home turf, Ben S-K smashed the sub-20 barrier at Alexandra park. Looks like those long distance miles are paying off. π₯³

South East Lancs cross country awards night!
Harriers spent a special evening celebrating the 100th season of SELCC on Friday. And they had a lot to be proud of:
β€οΈ The Menβs Team picked up first prize in the senior menβs team - a proud moment that drew on lots of club talent, especially for the final match at Heaton park
π€ Tim scooped up 1st place for his age category adding VM55 to his trophy cabinet. Alas, he left with no raffle prizes
π€ Womenβs Captain, Emma, picked up a surprise first place in the VF35 category
No cross country awards night would be complete without a request for Village People - and the DJ delivered!
Thank you to everyone at for another wonderful season - and for having us on Friday night. We loved it.

π₯ Half Marathon Magic
Will and Molly both secured excellent PBs at the Media City Half π
Tim claimed a superb 8th place at the Stockport Trail Half Marathon πͺ
And making us proud in sunnier climes, President Josie picked up a lovely HM PB in Barcelona βοΈ
π₯ More race action
Womenβs Captain, Emma, claimed 1st female at the York Winter Warmer 5K π₯
Martin took on the Heaton Park 5K
David completed the Hale 10K, continuing in strong form after a 1st place finish at Philips Parkrun

Novemberβs Harrier of the Month is Jak Richardson π₯
A brilliant month for one of our newer Harriers, with Jak breaking into the sub-40 club shortly after a sterling cross-country debut.
Heβs had an exciting start to life as a Manchester YMCA Harrier and his November performances were a great sign of whatβs to come. Weβre looking forward to cheering him on to bag more PBs in 2026.
Massive congrats, Jak! π
