A huge congratulations to our very own Keira Wilkinson who has been named Heart of Salford 2026 Young Volunteer of the Year!
At just 14 years old, Keira planned and delivered the Winton Wanderers Colour Fun Run, raising an incredible Β£3,035 for Once Upon a Smile, a charity that holds a very special place in her heart.
From the first idea to the final splash of colour, Keira's passion, determination and commitment to helping others inspired our entire community.
This award is thoroughly deserved and recognises not only the amazing fundraising achievement, but the difference one young person can make when they choose to help others.
We are incredibly proud of you, Keira. You are a credit to your family, our club and the wider Salford community. ππ§‘
