Formed in 1996, we are one of the world's oldest and largest football clubs aimed at - but not exclusively - gay men. We play with a competitive, yet fun approach to the beautiful game. We are based in Manchester, United Kingdom and meet up every week for training before playing league matches at the weekend. 📄 CLUB STATEMENT: Village Manchester FC have terminated the contract of as Third Team Manager with the immediate effect after three years in charge.
His insistence on talking about musicals and life as a teacher at every opportunity have left the board with no other option. Mr Evans will probably insist that this was his decision alone and he’d simply put up with his players for long enough.
He departs the coaching staff with a full squad percentage much high than his win ratio.
Village Manchester FC would like to place on record our thanks for his professionalism with a squad who, at times, are more at home in the pub than on the pitch.
Despite saying “never again” we give him 18 months until he gets roped back into management.
Well done fella, your efforts have been much appreciated. You’ll have more time to practice your finishing now.
