Salford was granted city status by King George V on April 21, 1926, via a Royal Charter. This honor was bestowed to mark its importance as an industrial hub and for its significant role in the Manchester Ship Canal.
Salfords oldest Rugby Club turned 157 years old this year, we would like to wish the City of Salford a joyful 100th Birthday 🎂

Squad Builder programme 2!
After a fantastic recruitment drive The griffins return to Yew Street and competed very well in their very first game together as a brand new team!
Now it's time to build on our last programme and build towards our 2nd friendly.
After a valient performance by our brand new squad aginst North Manchester, our squad builder nights start again after a weeks rest.
Tuesday 14th April & Thursday 16th April 7-8pm @ Yew Street.
