This is where people get it wrong.
They think movement / exercise has to be:
❌ Long
❌ Intense
❌ Perfect
So when they’re tired… they skip it.
Big mistake.
Because the real win is this:
👉 Short session
👉 Lower intensity
👉 Still showed up
That’s how momentum is built.
20 minutes counts.
10 minutes counts.
Even 5 minutes counts.
Lower the bar…
But never miss.
Remember momentum sparks motivation
And
You don't have to be great to start
But you have to start to be great.

You can’t out-train poor recovery.
Most people think they have a time problem with sleep…
But it’s actually a quality problem.
If your mind is still racing at night, your body never fully
switches off.
That means:
❌ Less fat loss
❌ Slower recovery
❌ Lower energy in sessions
Start treating sleep like part of your training plan—not an
afterthought.
Small changes = big results.

Here’s the truth:
➡️ Progress doesn’t happen in the gym
➡️ It happens when you recover from it
If your sleep is poor and stress is high,
your body stays in survival mode.
That means:
– Slower fat loss
- Slow muscle gain
– More aches and pains
– & Lower motivation
Fix your recovery 🔑
& Everything else improves.

You need to implement 3 things at once to see

Team APC monthly group walk around chorlton water park
2 laps (totalling 5000 steps) to set Sunday up for success

✅Lots of laughs
Obstacles identify and talked through (supporting each other).
This was my first time around CWP, and today I brought my son Ted, my dog Tove and my mum Mary.
We are building a community of people seeking progress and refusing to stay stuck.
Movement
Fresh air
Progress (physically and mentally)
For me, this is what coaching people is really all about, helping with weightloss yes, but also building better mental well-being and habits that last (leading to long term results)
