Photos from of Saturday’s 3-3 draw with Dudley Town. West raced into a first half 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Abadaki, Dawson and Leonard but those who thought the game was finished were in for a shock as Dudley Town found their way back into the match and struck a late equaliser.
Thank you for your support, we’ll see you at Darlaston on Saturday.

Relive the scenes from Brookburn Road last night thanks to these photos from
We picked up our first home win of the season and back to back league wins. Joe Berks’ fine strike from distance set West on our way and Victor Abadaki doubled the lead a few minutes later. An own goal from a corner gave West a 3-0 lead. Despite conceding a goal on the stroke of half time and going down to ten men on the hour mark, West defended the lead resolutely to pick up a well deserved win. The final celebration of the evening came with Billy Matthews celebrating his record 228th appearance for the club 🤍🖤
Thank you for your amazing support. We’ll see you back at Brookburn Road on Saturday when Dudley Town are our visitors.

After an enthralling 1-1 draw in West Yorkshire, West and Garforth will do it all again this Tuesday in Chorlton.
A well-taken Max Leonard volley had the sizeable travelling West support dreaming before Town’s Charlie Marshall pegged us back with a second half equaliser, though West still had enough chances to perhaps feel the tie should’ve been put to bed on the day.
After a heavy midweek defeat, Manager Lee Rick will however take heart from the defensive resilience shown against higher level opposition.
The result means we continue our love affair with midweek home fixtures, and in the process making it 11 years since we last lost an away game in the FA Cup - at 1874 Northwich in August 2015.
With the draw for the next round already made, potential opponents Burscough and Droylsden drew 2-2 so will also face a replay to determine who advances to the Preliminary Round on Saturday 22nd August.
Garforth Town were to open their league season against Beverley Town on Tuesday - with former Leeds United and Oldham Athletic star John Sheridan due to be in attendance on behalf of club sponsors - but they’ll now to wait to check in to their Northern Premier League Division One East campaign at Dunston on Saturday.
