On Thursday, Mr Captain, Brian Fleetwood, had another fantastic day. His prize to Ladies was won by Marie McNeill with Fran Dalton in 2nd and Lady Captain, Julie Webb having the lowest gross score.
Superb food and service from wb_catering inevitably followed! 👏👏👏👏👏
Saturday saw the traditional beer on Simon’s Bridge between Brian and Tony O’Gara, Captain of Didsbury Golf Club . Long may it continue.
Captains Day for Brian Fleetwood. A packed clubhouse enjoyed superb food from Warren Burns and the team.
Ken Hulme, won with a nett 69, edging out Will Lloyd and Stefan Logue.
Lowest gross was Joe Williams with 76 in testing, windy conditions on CPO, with Craig Snowdon the bridesmaid again!

Congratulations to snowdon1988 on winning the “Turkey Trophy”. Presenting the trophy is Past Captain, Nick McIvor, with the Withington masses watching on.

Hole in ones... ⛳Just like buses, you don't see one for ages and then two come along at once! Congratulations to Withington member, Rick Rood (pictured on the 8th) for his hole in one last Wednesday and then a member of Savanah Golf Society also shot a hole in one yesterday on the same hole! Both were elated and got the drinks in when they reached the clubhouse!🏌🍻
