4 WEEKS OUT oh ma gaddd 👰‍♀️ 💍 ⛪️

Still cracking on as normal 😅

Reps have been pushed up for a short strength endurance/work capacity block on main lifts which is rather gross 🤢

Hypertrophy accessories as always 💪🏼 🍑

I’m sure these will be the fastest 4 weeks of my life so trying to keep my training focus before my head falls off with nerves 😂😂

If you’re constantly busy, on your feet all day or teaching back to back classes/with clients … this is probably familiar.

You get to the end of the day and realise you’ve barely eaten.

Not because you don’t care about your nutrition…
But because your day just gets away from you.

This is where most people go wrong.

They try and follow “ideal” meal plans that don’t actually fit their schedule.

Instead, your nutrition needs to work around your day to prioritise getting enough fuel to support your training/ and general day to day!

That might look like:
- planning meals into your breaks ahead of time
- using shakes or smoothies when you don’t have time to sit down
-choosing lower volume, higher calorie meals when you need something quick
-having easy options ready to go so you’re not relying on chance.

You don’t need perfect meals.
You just need a plan that works when life gets busy.

TEST WEEK - last week I had a look at where I was at with my 1RM Squat, Bench, Deadlift & max pull ups 🤪💪🏼

I find testing my numbers so motivating and really helps gee me up for a good session knowing that I have a bit of a challenge ahead but also exciting to see where I have progressed to with my current training block.

If you’re bored with your own training it’s likely because you aren’t progressing in strength or working towards anything and just going through the motions.

The most important factor when it comes to training is that you keep showing up. So finding a program that keeps you consistent and motivated to train is key - it doesn’t really matter what it is as long as you enjoy it.

Meet the lovely 🤗

5 whole years ago, Nicola joined me as a client over the Covid era, doing workouts in a car park - it wasn’t enough to put her off 😂😂

My 8am on a Wednesday has been an hour I look forward to every week with this lovely ray of sunshine!

Clients really do become such a big part of your life as I see them more than I see most people in my life 😂

Due to a slight change in circumstances, Nic will be pausing with me for a little while but this won’t be the end.

This job is amazing with building such lovely connections, and this one is a fab one!
