Sporticipate
Free sport and activities for anyone at The University of Manchester. All our activities are open to all abilities so there's no need to be shy!
Sporticipate offers FREE sports and activities to all students and staff at The University of Manchester. Our belief is that an active campus is a happy campus so we are working hard to break down barriers to participation in sport. According to research into participation in sport, the main barriers faced are cost, time and a negative perception of sport, or a lack of confidence to get involved.

Though many of us will be working/studying from home and reducing our social contact in the coming weeks, keeping active remains hugely beneficial to the physical and mental health of our University community.
Our face to face delivery at facilities and classes may have ceased for the time being, but we're still here to support sport and physical activity where possible! We'll be looking to record classes from the Be Active and Sporticipate programmes which you'll be able to engage with from your own space. Make sure to keep an eye on our social media, YouTube, and email channels for content and advice on how to keep active, healthy and happy.
